Angus

Angus

Angus came to New Hope as a transfer from another agency with with a severe skin condition in April of 2018. He was taken immediately to a veterinarian and it was discovered that he had a very bad case of Demodex and was started on treatment right away. This is a mite that burrows into the skin that often times affects malnourished animals with poor immune systems. He was full of scabs, his fur was falling out and he was extremely itchy. With several treatments and good nutrition, Angus made a full recovery and was successfully adopted at the end of June 2018. We were able to help Angus because of the Guardians of Hope Fund! If you would like to make sure that other dogs like Angus get a chance, please consider making a donation to our Guardian of Hope Fund.
